08:00/ 13:20: Meet your guide at 36 Ton Duc Thang Street and get ready for an unforgettable sea adventure. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure a smooth departure. Be ready for a half-day sea adventure as we set sail to explore the stunning Bay Canh Island and Cau Island.
08:10/ 13:30: Board the boat and set sail across the crystal-clear waters of Con Dao, heading towards Bay Canh Island – a vital conservation zone within Con Dao National Park.Enjoy the fresh sea breeze and stunning coastal views along the way.
At Bay Canh Island, you’ll:
- Visit the sea turtle incubation site, where rangers monitor and protect turtle eggs during nesting season.
- Learn about the life cycle of sea turtles, the species found in Con Dao (especially green turtles), and why they are endangered.
- Hear about the challenges of conservation in a changing climate, including the effects of El Niño on sea temperature and coral bleaching.
