Historical Development and Restoration

Initially built at the end of the 18th century under the name Long My Temple, this site has twice been destroyed by fire and subsequently rebuilt in 1815 and 1890. It was renamed Binh My Temple after the village where it is located. In 1928, Mr. Pham Tu Quy mobilized the local community to restore the temple, renovating it in the architectural style of the Chau Phu Temple.
